梵天北京办公室位于燕莎50号院，园区环境幽静，紧邻日本大使馆和美国大使馆。业主是从事地产业的公司，此办公室为其在北京的临时总部。
在这个项目中，让建筑内部接收到充足的阳光是建筑师思考设计的起点。

插入的光庭

由于这栋房子前身是一家影视公司，留下了一些类似暗房的黑空间，对于新租户来说，是很难使用的。因此，首先需要将隔墙全部拆除，按照功能需求重新划分空间。
随后，建筑师在这个长42米、宽18米的长方形单层建筑里插入了3个大小略有不同的光庭院。这3个兼具小型会议室功能的庭院分别位于对外接待、内部主要办公、内部管理等3个重点区域。使用者可以在建筑内部感受到一天中自然光线的变化，下雨或下雪的时候，体验会更为有趣。光庭作为装置一样的存在，是人与自然元素发生关系的场所，自然而然地也成为了各个区域的视觉中心。
除了光庭，建筑师还在交通过道上方设计了一列圆形天窗，两者皆与灯具结合。这样，不论天气状况如何，光庭和天窗都可以在自然照明和人工照明之间自由转换，为使用者提供了丰富且可靠的光与空间的体验。

Threedifferentscalecourtyardsareinsertedintherectanglesinglestorybuilding(42X18meters).Thesethreenewvisualfocalpoints,functionedassmallconferencerooms,areabletoserveforreception,mainworkingareaandadministrationoffices.Theideaofarchitectistoprovideopportunityforuserstoexperienceever-changingdaylightandweather.Therefore,threeinstallationsbecametheplacewherepeoplecanmakeaconnectionwithnaturalelements.
Exceptforcourtyards,thearchitectalsocreatedagreatspatialexperiencewithadequatelightbyopeningseveralcircularroofwindowsbeyondcorridor.Allnaturallightingcooperateswithartificialilluminationinbothcourtyardsandcorridorwhichisconvenientforuserstoswitchbetweenthetwo.

另外，该建筑并不是业主长久的办公地点，所以建筑师希望通过更为简单有效的办法来解决问题。
考虑到要在有限的建筑面积里承载尽可能多的员工，扩大建筑的空间感成为了另一个设计重点。除了插入光庭，建筑师利用聚碳酸酯版搭建了隔墙。由聚碳酸酯版构成的墙体既可以围合空间，又有一定的反射周围场景的作用，同时还可以透射部分光线，在墙体两侧制造了一个暧昧的关系。相对于一般的墙体，它可以减少空间的压迫感并在一定程度上保证独立办公室的隐私。
